How to stop my 13 year old friend from smoking?

My friend is 13 years old and he doesn’t wanna stop smoking i try to explain what will happen but no,he doesn’t believe it… What should i do?
He just won’t stop, i tried EVERYTHING, even throw his cigarette or give him chewing gum… if i call the youth crisis call line he won’t talk he runs away. -_-

Tell him if he doesn’t stop hell eventually start coughing out blood like I did
